Celebrated by cooperatives nationwide during the month of October, National Co-Op Month is an annual opportunity to raise awareness of a trusted, proven way to do business and build resilient, inclusive communities. Under this year’s theme, “Owning Our Identity,” Park Region would like to share how we, as a cooperative, are owning our identity in the communities we serve.
Park Region Mutual Telephone has been a member owned cooperative since 1906. Over the years we have expanded beyond the cooperative area to further serve our local area with telephone, internet, and streaming TV service. The communities of Ashby, Battle Lake, Browns Valley, Dalton, Erhard, Fergus Falls, Maine, Rothsay, Underwood, and Vining are all served by Park Region or one of its companies. Park Region values each and every member by working diligently to carry our vision of going ‘beyond the connection’ to ensure that our customers are served with the latest technology available to them. We believe keeping our members connected to the things that matter most gives them the ability to thrive and grow in our rural communities. Park Region provides the same great access to services that one can find in any metropolitan area. Our vision and mission are centered on our members.
Throughout the month of October, members are encouraged to pop into our Underwood office to receive a bag of Mother Goose & Beans kettle corn and to sign-up for a giveaway of a Nest Protect Smoke & CO Alarm ($119 value). Registration for the giveaway will begin Monday, October 2nd and end Tuesday, October 31st. Our office hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. We would love the opportunity to thank you in person for your continued patronage.
